Please note, during peak season, there may be a 1–2 hour queue for the shuttle, so patience and an early start are essential. Before heading out, we securely leave our extra luggage at the Sonprayag hotel, taking only what’s needed for the Kedarnath night stay.

From Gaurikund, we embark on a 16 km spiritual trek to Kedarnath. The trek is a journey of devotion, surrounded by chants of “Har Har Mahadev,” the soothing sound of the Mandakini River, and the energy of fellow yatries. For those needing assistance, horses and palkis are available.

By late afternoon or evening, we reach Kedarnath and check into our cozy guesthouse, located close to the Kedarnath Temple. After a fulfilling darshan, we take a moment of silence to soak in the divinity, the mountain air, and the deep satisfaction of having reached Baba Kedar’s doorstep.
