Kailash Mansarovar Trek 2025

Overview

Trekking to Mount Kailash is a soul-stirring pilgrimage — a rare opportunity to walk the sacred path taken by sages, monks, and spiritual seekers for thousands of years. Located in the Ngari region of western Tibet, Mount Kailash (6,638 m) is revered in four religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon.

Unlike typical treks, this journey is not about summiting a peak — it's about circumambulating it (Parikrama) with devotion, endurance, and a pure heart.

Why Choose This Yatra?

  • Considered the abode of Lord Shiva

  • One complete Parikrama (52 km) is believed to erase the sins of a lifetime

  • Sacred to Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Bonpos

  • Unclimbed and forever sacred — no one has ever stood atop Mount Kailash

  • Visit to Lake Mansarovar – the highest freshwater lake in the world (4,590 m)

Tour Highlights

Trek to Dirapuk Monastery – view the stunning north face of Kailash
Cross the Dolma La Pass (5,630 m) – the most spiritually significant and challenging point
Witness Gauri Kund – sacred lake believed to be formed by Goddess Parvati
Bathe in the holy waters of Lake Mansarovar
Optional Inner Kora trek (for advanced pilgrims – permits required)
